David Eagleman, PHD, directs the Laboratory for Perception and Action and the Initiative on Neuroscience and Law at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. He is best known for his work on time perception, synesthesia, and neurolaw.

He has had essays published in all manner of journals including Nature and Science. He also lectures widely and continues to be invited to speak at universities all around the world.

His work of fiction, Sum, became an international bestseller and is published in twenty-three languages.
