Text Publishing, the ANZ publisher of Adania Shibli’s novel Minor Detail, translated by Elisabeth Jaquette, stands in solidarity with the author, who was due to receive the LiBeraturpreis at the Frankfurt Book Fair this week. We have added our signatures to an open letter condemning the decision to cancel the award ceremony. The Frankfurt Book Fair has a duty to champion all writers, especially in these heartbreaking times.
