The Melbourne Writers Festival has just announced this year’s program and it is chock full of people to see and events to attend. Text Publishing has a whopping 28 international and local authors contributing to sessions this year, far too many to list here so visit the MWF site for details. We will have authors drawn from the fields of fiction, non-fiction, young adult and journalism, while Julianne Schultz will be representing Griffith REVIEW in a number of panels on hot button topics like population and refugees, and the future of the media.

The festival kicks off on Friday 27 August and runs through to Sunday 5 September. Be sure to get in early and book your tickets so you don’t miss out on your favourite authors.
