The shortlist for the 2011 Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards was announced this morning, and we’re delighted to report that it includes Craig Sherborne’s debut novel, The Amateur Science of Love.

The Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards is the richest literary prize in Australia, with the overall winner taking home a purse of $125,000. 21 titles were shortlisted this year, across five categories. You’ll also be able to vote in the People’s Choice Award before the winners will be announced on 6 September.
