Geoff Dyer’s laugh-out-loud genre-buster Jeff in Venice, Death in Varanasi, will feature on First Tuesday Book Club on ABC TV in September.

Special guest book clubbers Shane Maloney and Phillip Hensher will join First Tuesday regulars, Jason, Marieke and Jennifer to discuss Dyer’s latest book, as well as the Sicilian classic The Leopard, by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa. The program will air on 1 September at 10pm.
