The shortlists for the NSW Premier’s Literary Awards 2011 have been announced and we’re delighted to report that Stephen Daisley’s debut novel Traitor has been shortlisted in two categories.
Traitor is on the shortlist for both the Christina Stead Prize for Fiction—past winners of which include Helen Garner, Helen Hodgman and Kate Grenville—and the UTS Glenda Adams Award for New Writing.
Winners will be announced in late May, but in the meantime you can vote for Traitor in the People’s Choice Award, and perhaps win some prizes of your own!
Congratulations to Stephen, and fingers crossed!
