Um, ‘Number 3 chiller’?

Okay, so the blog name’s a little inscrutable. We were going to include an ‘About Me’ section that explained it all, but that’s a bit too easy. So instead it’s a competition: the first commenter who can explain the genesis of this blog name wins a prize. (The most original/funny explanation offered for the name might also win a little something.)
