We are now just a week away from the presentation of the Australian Book Design Association Awards, so it seems like a good time to celebrate our shortlisted covers and designers. The Australian Book Design Association exists to support Australian book designers – to promote their work to, and connect with, the broader publishing community, and to discover and foster emerging talent. The Australian Book Design Awards celebrate the bravest and brightest, the most original and beautiful books published in Australia each year. You can learn more about the ABDA at their website.
The cover design is a hugely important factor in the success of a book and it doesn’t happen by accident. A lot of thought and hard work goes into each and every one (and a large dose of talent, of course!) so we’re absolutely delighted to see our colleagues in Design receiving the recognition they deserve.
